Cafh - Digital Technology Guidelines

A shared place to care for Cafh's digital work with clarity, method, and a spirit of service. This portal gathers practical guidance on systems, websites, social channels, providers, data, and AI use for the committee and the people who work alongside it.

Versions: Español and Português.

Purpose

This portal is a shared home for the work of the Digital Technologies Management Committee. It offers a practical and thoughtful framework shaped by the way Cafh lives its digital work today:

  • Most infrastructure work sits with outside providers
  • A few technical members hold direct access to DigitalOcean
  • The main website has a public area and a member area
  • Some internal tools support record keeping
  • A small member data set lives in a database

Policy areas

Each section addresses one part of the same operating model. Together they give the committee a shared language for ownership, access, vendors, incidents, data, public channels, and the safe use of AI.

Mission alignment

The mission gives digital work its measure. Technology should support service, responsibility, and care for people. The original mission statement in Spanish stays on the home page.

Working style

The portal is meant to support steady volunteer work with clarity and calm. It should help members care for digital tasks with method, without turning digital management into a full time burden.

  • Review every request through the committee.
  • Record owners, vendors, systems, and review dates.
  • Protect the member area, the member database, and the public image of Cafh.
